How LowKiwi makes money (in plain words)
LowKiwi is free. No app, no browser extension, no account. Here is exactly how we pay the bills, and what that does and doesn't change.
We earn a commission on some store links
When you click some store links and buy, the store or an affiliate network (like Amazon Associates or the eBay Partner Network) may pay us a small commission. You pay the same price; it never costs you extra.
Links that may earn us a commission are marked "Suggested" and "affiliate link" in the results, and #ad on social media.
Commissions don't change prices or the cheapest store
We show the price each store shows, with shipping when the store tells us, and the date we saw it. A commission never changes a price.
The store with the lowest price we found always keeps the "Lowest price we found" badge, whether it pays us or not, and you can sort by "Lowest total price" anytime.
Commissions never change the order of the list. Two placements are tied to commissions, both clearly labeled: the Amazon box shown first ("Sponsored", never ranked by price, because we can't show Amazon prices), and a "Suggested" box above the list (up to two stores), which always shows each one's price difference versus the lowest price.
No extension, no account, no swapped links
There's nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. We never replace links or coupon codes at checkout; you go straight to the store you choose.
How we pick "real deals"
We check the exact same new product every day across the stores we compare. A product shows up in Real Deals only when today's price is the lowest we've seen for it in our history (up to 30 days, at least 3 days of data).
We say "lowest we've seen", never "the lowest price": other stores we don't check may be cheaper. Prices change fast, so every price shows the date we saw it.
We don't show Amazon prices; for Amazon we link to the listing so you can see Amazon's current price there.
Other ways we may earn
Stores can buy a clearly labeled "Sponsored" spot in the Coupon Book or a featured coupon. Sponsored spots are always labeled and never change the price comparison.
